«A comet of amazing beauty»
The art object is made in the form of a comet on takeoff with a fiery tail of metal letters that add up to words from the famous opera parts of Eulalia Kadmina. In addition, the metal comet is interactive: it is equipped with motion sensors and a speaker, and if you get closer, the monument will sing excerpts from arias performed by the famous opera diva.
The idea
An outstanding singer of the 19th century, with an amazing voice, admired by her contemporaries, was born and lived in Kaluga until the age of 12. Eulalia was a favorite student of P. And Tchaikovsky, conquered the world stage and became the prima ballerina of the famous opera house in Kiev. Anatoly Lunacharsky called Eulalia Kadmina "a comet of wondrous beauty." The artists started from this image.

Mne malym malo spalos'
The bedside table with calligraphy 2024
It happens that when you hear a familiar melody or words, a song starts playing silently in your head, the soul sings, especially when something is warm, native from childhood. Sometimes in winter we with my mother and sister made dumplings and sang russian songs together. Familiar phrases, a motif are transferred like a time machine to a place where it is sincere, cozy and warm… That's how this bedside table turned out " Mne malym malo spalos' "
